I know this will make me seem like a martyr, but I haven't had any time off since the first week of January.
YIKES. Sooooo.....since then:
- We've had a new Super Bowl Champion
- We finished up High School Basketball
- We finished up College Basketball
- We planned, and threw a party for Logansport's 175th birthday
- Spring Break happened.
- The end of school happened.
- The Indy500 happened
- We had Fair week
- and I know I'm missing something...
The funny thing is, I've worked harder on this vacation than I ever do during a normal week...See, we decided to put a new floor in our kitchen and back room. Which lead to other projects throughout the house....Plus, my parents put new carpet in their sunroom, AND it was like 9,000 degrees everyday. Oddly, though, it was quite therapeutic. Something about sweating in places you shouldn't be sweating and not thinking about work is just what I needed!
